{2015} Review of The Island Cafe + Krispy Kreme

Hello:>
Today Im gonna review about the Island Cafe and alittle about the Krispy Kreme doughnut.

The Island Cafe
Interior is cozy and comfortable.Quite packed during lunch yet very comfy:>

Menu

Their famous Tahu Telor. Almost every table had ordered and it was delicious and crisp. The sauce has hints of prawn paste and the tofu was firm. Recommended to give it a try!

Satay. The chicken satay had the right texture and taste. The gravy was on the thin side though.

Crayfish Laksa. The broth was on the salty side but it blended well with the other ingredients. The crayfish even had roe! A first time for me. However, the crayfish meat was a bit on the dry side.

Latte. Not on the hot side though. Disappointing:/

Rating: 3.5/5

The batter was light and the doughnut was crispy. The outer coating was smooth but it was very sweet. The doughnut was not hot either. It is much better standard than normal doughnut considering its texture but it is far too sweet for my liking. Note: I got this free from the LINE promotion. That may be why i got my doughnut cold. However this is a good platform to advertise their products to people who have not tried their doughnuts. Disappointment yet again.
