{2015}Review of Eng's Noodles House 's Wanton Mee
Today I'm here to review Eng's Noodles House 's Wanton Mee which i loved when i tried it last time.
Menu( pretty simple)
Barley
Lime Juice
Water Chestnut
Wanton Mee ($4.50)
Steamed Vegetable
Wontons are hidden below the noodles. Noodles are chewy and firm which i like very much because i avoid alkaline yellow noodles which have a chemical smell to me. These noodles do not have any smell and i guess are homemade or exclusive to them as i have not tasted them anywhere else. The chilli here is famously spicy so do not spam if you have not tried it beforehand. However after tasting the first bite without the chilli would be good as the natural taste of the wonton mee is very good. Everything is smooth and the noodles are not oily yet goes down easily. The wanton are firm and taste good. The chilli would set in after that so a warning again.. do not spam!!!!
yes, heed this advice..
Overall, i love this wanton mee but i have yet to try the one at Old Airport Road Food Centre which my mum raves about. I would be trying it tomorrow so wait patiently for my review:>
