{2015} Miika's Recommendations : BEST Wu Xiang in Singapore

Image
hello lovelies:) I am back with a recommendation more than a review. If you live in the east and love a good Wu Xiang this stall is one that has been here for more than 20 years. I saw my primary school teacher frequenting the stall when i was 10 and i still eat there frequently! The beehoon here is one of the softest in texture and very smooth! Its also very tasty and goes well with the oily WuXiang. Here, you must order the orange octopus and the crispy prawn cracker( its the best item here, its super crispy and tastes like soda water !) The sausage is also good, i usually dont eat the sausage but the sausage here is not fatty and has a hint of XO~ Super delicious! {2015} Best Wanton Mee and Fishball Noodles in Singapore!

Image
hello lovelies, Today I am going to review the best wanton noodles i have ever ate in my entire life OMG. This is the one i mentioned in my previous post, yes the one my mum raved to me after discovering it a few months back. This is the Hua Kee Hougang Famous Wanton Noodles I went there in the morning and there was barely any queue. So yeah i ordered the 3.50 bowl of wanton noodles as we wanted to have a variety to try from^^ Looks not very appetizing but once you have the first bite.. WOW! There is a very fragrant charcoal burnt smell that i cant put into description but the flavour of these noodles are very rich and the char siew is not too fatty but juicy. The noodles here are springy and without the alkaline taste that i mentioned in my previous post about wanton noodles. However i still prefer the Eng's noodles over this one but this really have the rich taste and traditional flavour that they would easily win over Eng's. Here, their chilli  is not too spicy but al...
