{2015}Review of Chapter 55 / Savoury @ Jalan Kayu~

hello lovelies,

i have a little spare time to write so i will be writing as much as i can now. Chapter 55 is currently changing into being Halal-certified and they are known as Savoury now.They have a 1for1 promotion but it only applies to certain menu items and the 1free would be cheapest across the items ordered( aka your free could be the dessert instead of a main course).




The interior is comfy and slightly vintage inspired?
 





Casear salad with chicken if im not wrong! It was pretty good with the chicken pieces!







This is the Black Pepper Chicken Pasta. It was super peppery( way more than the version at Swensens ) and i liked the spice it provided. Worth a try! However , it would be better with more ingredients as it was literally just chicken
                                   
Seafood Vongole. It was very creamy and delicious!! Recommended to try if you like creamy pastas!







Durian lava cake with Mao Shan Wang ice cream.This was the bomb with the ice cream, it could be tasted that the ice cream was genuinely made with durian and it was super fragrant. The lava cake was okayish as the paste inside was kinda sweet and nothing special. However i still felt that ice cream made up for that!






Waffles with Ice Cream( i believe you can choose the flavour, we chose pistachio). The waffle here has cooked fruit like apple,pear and bananas so it tasted naturally sweet. The waffles were super filled with so many ingredients and i think that this is what would make me return!

Overall, their pastas are above average and their desserts were what left a bigger impression on me.

hello lovelies Today i am gonna introduce you guys to a place where you can breakfast if you are staying in the vicinity of Bukit Indah~~! This place has good seafood that i tried once ( in fact the entire row of shop houses sell pretty decent seafood!) In the morning this place has a wide variety of food to choose from ! Abalone noodles. Here there are individual stalls so do look carefully~!!! this was really good. The soup was super flavorful and there are so many ingredients such as kidney, prawns, one oyster, fish cake,abalone and vegetables. The bowl was full of ingredients!!The noodles are really smooth too!~~ Char Kuay Teow here reminds me of the famous one at Bedok~~ Nice~ This was the softest and smoothest chee cheong fan that i have ever eaten~!! Sliced fish mee hoon kuay. The mee hoon kuay is also good here!!!! {2017} Review of Klub Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok!

Hey guys! Its been a long time since my last post and its great to be back! Today I am going to do a review about Klub Hotel which i stayed in last month when I was in Bangkok for a short getaway!  So I landed at BKK Suvarnabhumi Airport and took a cab at the public taxi stand, at B1 of the airport to the city, the taxi driver was really nice, he helped us load all of our luggage ( 4 people) into the boot (pro af). He also called the hotel and ask about how to get there before we set off! We were really blessed! I was contemplating to call for a Grab but thankfully I did not have to do so! This is the receipt we got from the taxi stand, they have automated machines according what car type you need! Super efficient and I think Changi needs them!  We arrived at the hotel around 30 minutes later as we arrived quite early at 10am BKK time so there was not much traffic. Name Card! Review on Hallmark Crown Hotel(Melaka) 2014!~

Hello guys~!! My previous post touched on the food in Melaka so let me review the hotel that we stayed in for a night.  Note that all comparisons will be against a hotel that we stayed in the previous time for a similar time, Formosa Garden Hotel. Firstly the hotel was a bit hard to find as it was on the GPS, not sure if our GPS is old or ...:/ But we got directions from the shopping mall and it was relatively easy to find. Around 2 mins from Mahkota Parade, go in the direction of Hotel Equatorial, and when Hotel Equatorial is on your left, take note and keep right. Go straight all the way and when you see a church on the left, you know you are near. See this sign and turn into the hotel's carpark. Tadahhh:) The lobby.Check in was smooth and staff was friendly.  Super cool feature on the door. Touchscreen too!
